Satyananda yoga forms part of the Bihar Yoga System and is an integral and traditional form of yoga. The foundation of this form of yoga lies in the Tantras which means physical, psychological and spiritual aspects are embodied and explored. This is slow, steady and systematic in order to unravel blocked energy, balance emotions and learn to manage one's life. Aspects such as Pawanmuktasanas series I, II and III provide a foundation for support, relaxation, concentration and mind management. Satyananda yoga focuses on providing individuals with a whole-body support system through techniques for the mind, body and spirit.
